Care Advice & Warranty
Please take a moment to read through the following guidelines before placing an order or commissioning a bespoke piece. Knowing how to properly care for your fine jewellery will help preserve its brilliance and integrity for years to come.
Resilient, Not Unbreakable
Diamonds are one of the hardest natural materials on Earth, but even they are not immune to damage. A sharp impact at the wrong angle can chip or crack a stone. I recommend removing your jewellery before engaging in any hands-on or high-impact activities to avoid accidental damage.
Choose for Your Lifestyle
Slim, fine bands and intricate settings naturally require more care than heavier, more robust styles. When choosing your piece, consider how it fits into your day-to-day routine.
Preventing Accidental Damage
Though each piece is crafted for everyday magic, I advise removing jewellery before tasks like gardening, cleaning, lifting weights, or manual work. This will help protect the metal and gemstones from wear or knocks. To keep your jewellery sparkling, I recommend regular cleaning with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.
Caring for Diamonds
All settings should be checked occasionally, especially if the piece is worn daily. If you notice any movement or looseness in the setting, please return the piece to me for adjustment. While every effort is made to set stones securely, I cannot take responsibility for gemstones lost after purchase due to wear or impact.
Warranty
I offer a one-year warranty from the date of purchase that covers any issues arising from craftsmanship or manufacturing faults. This excludes damage due to accidents, misuse, or work carried out by third parties.
Insurance
I strongly encourage you to insure your jewellery. While each piece is carefully made for longevity, diamonds - particularly fancy cuts like baguettes - are inherently more delicate. Insurance offers peace of mind in the event of damage, theft, or loss and ensures that your jewellery is protected financially.
