Discover Your Partner's Ring Size

Unless you're proposing with one of my exchangeable, in-stock engagement rings or loose diamonds, you'll need to discover your partner's ring size.

Mission accepted? Read on to learn how to stealthily acquire this all important information...

You're made for each other

You go together like Neo & Trinity, and the ring you propose with should fit as beautifully as your Divine Union itself.

Before we go any further, here are my top tips for a match made in heaven:

• An engagement ring should slide over their knuckle and rest at the base of their finger without being too tight or too loose.
• It should fit snugly, allowing for a little movement, but not so much that it would slide off easily.
• Be sure to measure the ring finger on their LEFT hand, as the ring finger on their other hand will be different.
• Remember that seasonal changes affect ring size, so a ring will likely always be a little more snug in warmer seasons,
and slightly looser in cooler seasons.
• For a thick men's wedding band (6mm or wider), go up half a size for comfort.

Without further ado, here are my...

TOP 3 WAYS TO DISCOVER YOUR PARTNER'S RING SIZE

1. Measure while they're asleep

I have a secret item in my store, hidden from view. It's a pocket-sized, reusable ring sizer
Perfect for slipping around their finger, when deep in sleep.

I don't recommend using a piece of string, as it'll be too flexible for an accurate reading.

2. Borrow an existing ring

This is a classic approach but only works if they already have a ring they wear on their LEFT ring finger. You can casually "borrow" the ring and - accurately - trace the inner circumference on a piece of paper.

You can then send the piece of paper to me, and I will be able to determine your partner's ring size from your tracing.

3. Enlist a friend or family member

Someone near and dear to your darling may know their ring size already. If not, they could invite your partner to look at rings with them.

If they have a friend or family member who is currently shopping for engagement rings, they could ask your partner if they'd like to tag along. When they get their finger measured, they can suggest your future fiancé do the same "just for fun".
